Kelly Fajardo

I wanted to take a moment to Thank You for letting me serve as your State Representative.

Rep. Kelly Fajardo  was born and raised in New Mexico and has lived in Valencia County for almost 20 years. She was first elected the New Mexico State Representative for District 7 in 2012. In November 2014, she was voted caucus chair for the House Republicans. During Fajardo’s time as a legislator her main focus has been on New Mexico families and working with the Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD). She worked with CYFD and the governor to bring the first ever Child Advocacy Center to Valencia County. She also helped bring in $4 million to Valencia County in 2013 and over $5 million in 2014 and is committed to bringing jobs to her district.

She currently sits on the House Appropriations Committee as well as the House Transportation Committee.  Representative Fajardo also serves on the Cyber Security Task Force for the National Association of State Legislators as well as co-chair of the Communications, Financial Services and Interstate Commerce.

As a small business owner and mother to 3 boys, Representative Fajardo has made protecting our children and improving the lives of those in her distrcit as her top priority.
